The Blind Side

The Blind Side tells the story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family.

Lily attended the New York Premiere and After Party of The Blind Side on November 17, 2009. She was joined by her parents, Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman. The Blind Side was Lily’s first role and for that reason, there aren’t that many interviews out there. While promoting the movie, she sat down with the publications InStyle, Nylon and Teen Vogue for a quick chat and photo session. When asked about her reaction to learning she had landed a part, she mentions she “felt so overwhelmed and surprised but eager to dive in.”
